We provide Communications Pieces and Copywriting for various markets or audiences:

Business to Business Writing
Business to Consumer Writing
Business to Investors or Lenders -- Business Plans and Presentations
Internal Communications - employer to employee

We match the level of service you need that is most cost effective for you:

We can help you develop a project from the raw concept to the finished piece: we will develop the form, format, style and copy content that will best deliver your communications message to your market. That might entail any or all of the following:

• interviewing you and those you designate
• researching
• outlining, writing, reviewing and revising copy in response to your feedback
• working with your in-house or preferred vendor for graphics, printing, fulfillment.

We can work as your copy development partner; you determine the role we should take.
You might outline some ideas for the piece; we might suggest a format; you might give us rough notes or write a first draft; we then evaluate and return with questions, requests for information; we refine, rewrite and respond to your feedback; we continue to polish the copy until you are completely satisfied.

Rewriting, Editing or Proofreading
You wrote the piece, and now you want to see it professionally evaluated and improved. The piece may require only a light touch -- minor editing of grammar, punctuation, phrasing. Or it might require more extensive rewriting. For example, we may advise that new information be added, or that the piece be re-organized. We’ll add value to the work that was already done, and help you turn out an excellent finished product.

Technical Writing
We’ll let you know whether or not we have the necessary expertise in your field; usually we can edit technical documents for clarity, grammar, punctuation and phrasing even if we are not highly knowledgeable about the field.

What We Cannot Do
Sorry, but we do not write or edit creative work such as fiction or screenplays, nor can we write or edit personal letters, resumes or student papers.

How We Work Together
With e-mail, phone, fax and overnight delivery, most jobs can be completed without a face to face meeting. But if you prefer meeting and are in the NY Metro area, we can do that.

FEES and PAYMENT
We estimate the time a job will take and then set a competitive fee, We also provide you with a contract agreement and a written satisfaction guarantee. In setting fees, we try to err in favor of the client, since our goal is to meet all your needs within your budget.

Some jobs are quoted as a flat and fixed price or by the page. Those usually are jobs that are limited in complexity and scope and have a predictable time horizon.

Complex assignments, developing a piece "from scratch" and requiring an open time commitment, may require a deposit and progress payments. Such jobs are priced with a flat, fixed fee for the defined elements of the job and sometimes an hourly rate or percentage above the fixed rate to cover contingencies.

OUR SATISFACTION GUARANTEE
Our promise: If for any reason you are not satisfied with our results, first we will ask you for specifics and then strive to meet your expectations. But if you are still unsatisfied, you may call on our partial refund guarantee policy. We are proud to state that in six years, no client has ever called on us to make good on this guarantee. This policy has certain restrictions and is valid only when offered with our written price quote and agreement.
